STACKED’s take

Negative signalRole

Gets more snaps than Sadiq despite being secondary TE option; snap allocation criticized.

Tight end receiving disproportionate snap allocation relative to Kenyon Sadiq, the Jets' identified biggest threat at the position. Prior to Sadiq's exit in Week 5 vs. Cleveland, Taylor had 21 total snaps (15 on passing plays) compared to Sadiq's 13 total snaps (8 on passing plays). The source characterizes this allocation as difficult to comprehend given Sadiq's superior production (100+ receiving yards vs. Detroit two weeks prior) and the Jets' injury situation at wide receiver.
