Shough slightly above average vs. blitz; 5 TDs, 2 INTs in pressure

Saints QB Tyler Shough has been just a touch above average against the blitz, posting a 0.1% completion percentage above expectation (CPOE). He has thrown five touchdown passes and two interceptions against the blitz. This modest performance against pressure could be a target area for the Giants' defense, though defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson's track record with the Titans shows a conservative blitz approach—his Titans defense blitzed just 22.8% of dropbacks over the previous two seasons (22nd-highest rate) and sent DB blitzes 9.3% of dropbacks (25th). However, with the Giants short-handed on pass rushers, increased blitzing might become necessary.
