Blogging The Boys on Dak Prescott

Prescott must navigate Green Bay's blitz-heavy scheme after struggling with pressure identification vs. Tampa Bay.

Prescott faces a Packers defense that generates pressure primarily through blitzes rather than one-on-one dominance; Green Bay ranks 29th in Pass Rush Win Rate despite 14 sacks (7th). Against Tampa Bay, Prescott was officially sacked zero times but the offense struggled to identify pressure sources and never developed rhythm, with Tampa controlling possession 39+ minutes and Dallas scoring only 16 points. Interior pressure from Devonte Wyatt is particularly damaging because Prescott cannot step forward away from an edge rusher—if Wyatt penetrates the middle, the pocket collapses directly in front of the quarterback.
