Ferguson gains route opportunities if Cowboys tackles hold up against Green Bay edges.

Ferguson benefits from strong offensive line pass protection; if Tyler Guyton and Terence Steele can hold up against Green Bay's edge rushers, Dallas can release Ferguson into routes instead of constantly keeping him as an extra blocker beside the tackles. This offensive flexibility is enabled by the Cowboys' strong tackle play and is critical to the team's strategy against a Packers defense that relies on blitzes.
