Cat Scratch Reader on Saquon Barkley

Barkley's status uncertain; Eagles may rest him with Hurts out.

Saquon Barkley's availability for Sunday is uncertain due to being banged up, and the Eagles may elect to rest him given the dire situation with Hurts out. The source states: 'I'm not sure if Saquon Barkley or Devonta Smith ends up playing given this development. They are both banged up and the Eagles might elect to just rest them both because of the dire situation.' If Barkley does play, the Panthers' defensive focus will be to contain him, similar to their approach against the Lions and Gibbs.
