Yahoo Sports NFL on Omarion Hampton
From the article
Hampton, too, has had his decent days but he's scored in the low single digits more often and is coming off a 4.4-point stinker against the beatable Broncos run defense. It's gotten so bad that both Kimani Vidal (26 snaps) and Keaton Mitchell (21) saw more playing time than Hampton (20) in Week 5.
STACKED’s take
Hampton's 4.4 points last week and 3.9 YPT make him a fade vs. Chiefs defense.
Hampton shares similar issues with Jeremiyah Love as a talented young running back trapped in a horrendous offense; he's scored in the low single digits more often than not and posted a 4.4-point dud against the beatable Broncos run defense. His involvement in the passing game is non-existent with just 14 receiving yards over the last three weeks and 35 for the entire season, particularly problematic on a team constantly trailing. In Week 5, both Kimani Vidal (26 snaps) and Keaton Mitchell (21) saw more playing time than Hampton (20), and when he does get the ball, he's averaging just 3.9 yards per touch. Against the tough Chiefs defense on the road where the Chargers are 8.5-point underdogs, Hampton is not playable.
