Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for Philly, Jalen Hurts gets ruled out with a blood clot in his calf. The bigger issue is the impending return of DeVonta Smith, who accounted for 33 percent of the team's targets and nearly half of the air yards over the first three weeks.

Hurts out with blood clot; Smith's return threatens Goedert's target share.

Goedert's situation worsens with Jalen Hurts ruled out due to a blood clot in his calf. While Tanner McKee is a solid backup, he's still a likely downgrade from Hurts. The bigger issue is DeVonta Smith's impending return; Smith accounted for 33 percent of the team's targets and nearly half of the air yards over the first three weeks. The offense won't be big enough for both Smith and Goedert.
