Windy City Gridiron on Michael Penix Jr.

Penix has unlocked Falcons offense; carries rib injury from prior week.

Penix has unlocked the Falcons offense upon his return; the source notes he has the offense humming with the help of playmakers Bijan Robinson and Drake London. Penix was selected seven spots after Caleb Williams in the draft, making this a draftmate matchup. However, Jeff Berckes notes Penix is carrying a rib injury from the previous Sunday and is uncomfortable when pressured, suggesting defensive pressure could be effective against him.
