Yahoo Sports NFL on Javonte Williams

Williams is Cowboys' only backfield threat; leaning on him as bell cow is key.

Williams is identified as the Cowboys' only meaningful running back threat in the backfield. The source frames leaning on Williams as a bell cow as a potential band-aid solution for the Cowboys' offensive struggles after the Tampa Bay loss. The Packers have been beaten badly on the ground by teams with multiple backs, but the Cowboys have no other option beyond Williams. The source suggests that if the Cowboys can remember to rely on Williams and build their offensive drives around the run game, they will be in the best position to win.
