Williams caught 34-yard TD and 49-yard gain against Raiders' inexperienced secondary.

Williams exploited the Raiders' secondary vulnerabilities in the Patriots' victory, catching a 34-yard touchdown against rookie cornerback Zeke Masses in the third quarter and a 49-yard completion against Darien Porter that helped set up a field goal. These were the loudest examples of the Patriots finding room to operate against a Raiders defense that allowed 21 gains of at least 10 yards overall. The Raiders' secondary inexperience—Masses is a rookie and Porter is in just his second season—created matchup advantages that Williams capitalized on.
