Skattebo's OT fumble broke Giants' clock-management strategy; 4 fumbles in 5 games.

Skattebo fumbled in overtime against Washington after running for 5 yards and a first down before the two-minute warning; the Giants' strategy was to run the ball twice or three times to work down the clock and protect the football so that if kicker Dominic Zvada missed the game-winning field goal, Washington would have no time to respond. Skattebo's fumble broke that plan, though the Commanders' own clock mismanagement prevented them from capitalizing. Skattebo has now fumbled four times in five games, raising accountability questions about his ball security despite his popularity in the locker room.
