Canal Street Chronicles on Tyler Shough

Shough faces Giants' 7th-ranked pass defense after career-worst game; Saints likely to lean on his arm.

Tyler Shough is coming off the worst game of his career. While he won't face a defense as good as the Vikings for the rest of the season, he'll be facing one of the better pass defenses in the league against the Giants, who rank seventh in pass defense. The Saints' philosophy relies on Shough's arm to pull them out of poor position, and with the team unable to establish the run, it's more likely we'll see a lot more of Shough throwing on Sunday.
