STACKED’s take

Positive signalProjection

Allen's MVP case strengthens with 331 yards, two TDs despite receiver injuries.

Allen is playing MVP-caliber football without a true No. 1 receiver; with DJ Moore and Josh Palmer out, he found other ways by leaning on running backs (six passes for 110 yards, more than half his 210 passing yards) and the run game (37 carries for 234 yards, 6.3 per carry, three touchdowns); Allen added 10 carries for 121 yards and a score with a 28.6% scramble rate (second-highest of his career); he finished with 331 total yards, two touchdowns, and the first overtime win of his career against a defense ranked third in EPA per play against the pass.
