Daily Norseman on Aaron Jones

Jones excels in gap schemes; positioned as key to unlocking Vikings' run game.

Aaron Jones excels in gap schemes (duo, counter, pin pull), making him a key complement to Jordan Mason in the Vikings' run-game arsenal. The episode notes the run game is currently 28th in EPA per rush, but O'Connell's commitment to the ground game as a growth point means Jones's gap-scheme specialization will be leveraged more as the offense evolves. His role is positioned as part of the solution to unlock the Vikings' ball-control offense.
