By going on IR, Shipley will automatically miss the Eagles' next four games (Weeks 6-9 vs. Panthers, Cowboys, at Commanders, and Giants), with the earliest possible return in Week 11 against Pittsburgh after the bye. With Saquon Barkley still nursing a hamstring injury and Tank Bigsby also on IR, the Eagles are currently without their top three running backs, leaving only Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele as healthy backfield options.
