Kubiak is using Bowers similarly to what he did with Jaxon Smith-Njigba in Seattle last year. The 2025 Offensive Player of the Year would line up all over the Seahawks' offense so that he could get favorable matchups... the 'football robot from heaven' has only been in-line on 13.6% of his pass snaps, per Pro Football Focus.

Bowers deployed like JSN in Seattle; only 13.6% in-line, split wide for matchups.

2025 Offensive Player of the Year deployed similarly to Jaxon Smith-Njigba under Kubiak in Seattle; lined up all over the offense to generate favorable matchups. Despite tight end label, only in-line on 13.6% of pass snaps per PFF; split out wide frequently like Sean Payton's usage of Jimmy Graham. Cousins has stared him down or checked down, but Bowers' diverse alignment and YAC skills position him as the primary receiving weapon in the Raiders' eighth-ranked passing offense.
