Through five games, he has attempted only 22 passes beyond 20 yards, completing just seven of those to teammates while throwing four interceptions. He has just one touchdown on deep throws with an adjusted accuracy rate of only 36.4%. Stafford is averaging 53 pass attempts over the last three games, which is partly due to game script (coming from behind) but also appears inexplicable given the Rams' efficient running game.
