McCarthy's entry showed downfield passing; potential QB controversy emerging.

When McCarthy entered the game, the Giants saw passes downfield (beyond the conservative, short-range throws that dominated Winston's game), suggesting potential QB controversy or role change. Source notes McCarthy's first appearance featured a useless RPO, but his later entry showed more aggressive downfield passing, though by then Saints were playing soft coverage.
