Worthy led the Chiefs with 7 receptions on 7 targets for 73 receiving yards and 43 yards after catch in Week 7 vs. Chargers, moving the chains 4 times. He stepped in as the high-volume wideout replacing injured Rashee Rice and showcased explosive playmaking with a 4.21-second 40-yard dash on one catch. Post-game, Worthy told media he was ready for increased usage: 'They told me all week: it's going to be for me. I have to step up for the receiving room; guys are down, and I did my one of 11.'
