Maye is a top-tier QB with multiple weapons, unlike Penix; different defensive approach needed.

Drake Maye presents a fundamentally different defensive challenge for the Bears compared to Michael Penix. The source characterizes Maye as a top-tier quarterback with plenty of weapons on all levels of the Patriots offense, implying that the defensive strategy that worked against Penix (pressure-based containment) will not be as effective against New England.
