Pierce's 19 pass-protection snaps (2nd-most RB Week 6) were wasted; he's terrible at blocking.

Pierce struggled in pass protection despite being asked to stay in and block 19 times, the second-highest total for a running back in Week 6. The source notes Pierce was terrible in pass protection and that the Eagles kept building the passing game around an assignment he couldn't execute. On one swing pass, the Eagles used three blockers to account for two defensive backs, leaving Devin Lloyd free to tackle Pierce; Pierce made a good play and still lost a yard. The source criticizes the offensive staff for not splitting Pierce wide or using empty sets instead of forcing him into a protection role he couldn't handle.
