Buffalo Rumblings on James Cook

Cook's 25 touches for 153 yards marks the heavy workload many wanted; breakaway run feels imminent.

James Cook recorded 153 yards from scrimmage on 25 touches, representing a reasonably heavy workload of the type many have requested all season. Despite rushing at 4.3 yards per attempt (lower than his 5.6 average coming in), Cook looked elite with sharp interior cuts, elite cornering ability, and breakaway speed; he was a shoestring tackle away from busting a long run for the second consecutive game, suggesting a breakaway run is imminent.
