Turf Show Times on Kyren Williams

Williams showed promise with 92 combined rushing yards but game plan abandoned run too quickly.

Williams played 42 snaps (72% of plays) on Sunday and rushed for 92 yards on 19 carries (combined with Blake Corum) while adding five catches on eight targets. The source notes Williams had a drop and another tougher off-target attempt that hit his hand, but there was a lot of open field that could have been exploited. The source criticizes the game plan for abandoning the run game too quickly despite it showing hints of being something to build on.
