Looking at all the data, I would put the majority of the blame for the feckless Bronco run game on JK Dobbins. The OL has not been great by any stretch, but they appear to be average in run blocking. So a competent running back should be getting better results behind them. Dobbins has been one of the worst primary ballcarriers in the NFL so far this season.

The source places majority blame for Denver's feckless run game on Dobbins, not the offensive line. Dobbins has 81 carries for 270 yards (3.33 YPC), significantly underperforming backup RBs: Harvey (57.1% success rate on 21 carries), Coleman (40% on 10 carries), and Badie (66.7% on 6 carries) all posted better results. Dobbins' success rate is 38.3%, tied for second-worst among 41 qualifying runners, ahead of only Marshawn Lloyd (37.5%). He has only one broken tackle on 81 carries, compared to Kenneth Walker's 12 on 106 carries. Dobbins gets 1.64 yards after contact per attempt (16th of 41, above average), but his 1.53 yards before contact is among the lowest, indicating he's not converting opportunities behind an average offensive line.
