Skattebo's four fumbles in five games led to benching; role now uncertain.

Skattebo leads Giants running backs with 81 carries for 294 yards (3.6 yards per carry) and had the longest rushing play of the season at 19 yards. However, his role has diminished significantly due to four fumbles in five games, leading Harbaugh to bench him entirely against the Saints where he touched the ball zero times. Skattebo has shown mixed success, averaging at least 4 yards per carry in only one game without Jaxson Dart at quarterback, indicating inconsistency and vulnerability to losing carries.
