Yahoo Sports NFL on Courtland Sutton

Sutton's 13 catches and lack of explosive plays make him unplayable despite goal-line work.

Courtland Sutton has 13 catches for 123 yards through six games and hasn't caught more than three passes in any single game. While he has some involvement near the goal line, J.J. McCarthy says he cannot play Sutton right now and advises benching him until the Broncos' passing game shows improvement. Building a starting decision around hoping this offense finally produces a touchdown for him is not a viable strategy.
