Herbert's league-worst 8 INTs and 29.9 QBR reflect McDaniel's offensive scheme collapse.
Herbert has league-worst eight interceptions and the lowest QBR (29.9) through six games; the source notes his downfall lies mainly at the feet of offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. Despite back-to-back 11-win seasons entering 2026, Herbert barely cracked 200 passing yards against the Chiefs and hasn't thrown multiple touchdown passes in a game yet this season, ranking 109th in fantasy scoring at 10.4 points per game—the most valuable Charger on the season despite the team's 0-6 record.
