McCaffrey saw increased usage after Evans injury but faced heavy blitzing.

When Mike Evans departed in the first half, the 49ers leaned heavily on Christian McCaffrey. However, the Commanders recognized the 49ers were out of separators and blitzed constantly in the second half, knowing they wouldn't be beat downfield, limiting McCaffrey's effectiveness as a receiver.
