He gave DeVonta Smith real opportunities for chunk plays all game, including on his TD grab and when he drew a DPI in man coverage. The good news is McKee has the touch and velocity to execute this highly-used part of the playbook. I wouldn't downgrade Smith because of the QB play right now.

McKee's arm talent supports Smith's chunk-play upside; no QB downgrade warranted.

McKee gave Smith real opportunities for chunk plays in Week 6, including on his TD grab and when he drew a DPI in man coverage; the source notes one miscommunication on a fade versus stop route but emphasizes McKee has the touch and velocity to execute the sideline throws that are a highly-used part of the Eagles playbook, and advises not to downgrade Smith because of QB play right now.
