Jacobs is a lineup lock if active in Week 7 against Lions' weak defense.

Josh Jacobs was removed from the Commissioner's Exempt List on October 19th, 2026, with head coach Matt LaFleur stating, 'We feel like he's in a pretty good spot. He's been training, but he's missed exposure to football.' The Packers backfield is in dire need of help: MarShawn Lloyd has averaged only 2.54 yards per carry, Kaleb Johnson hasn't expanded his role, and Chris Brooks is on IR. Jacobs is not in the same realm as these options and gets a divisional matchup versus the Lions' porous defense with a projected 53.5-point game total. If active, he's a lineup lock.
