STACKED’s take
Jones' 10.2 PPG average and 9 turnovers signal regression to form.
After resurrecting his career in Indianapolis last season and sitting at QB7 on 19.4 fantasy points per game before a torn Achilles ended his season in Week 14, Jones is averaging just 10.2 fantasy points through six games this season with a season high of 13.76 points on Sunday. He threw two interceptions on Sunday against a generous Titans defense, registering his third game with multiple turnovers. His nine turnovers this season are the second-most among quarterbacks while his six interceptions are tied for the fourth-highest total. His four passing touchdowns are far too few to offset the turnovers. Although his 30 rushing yards provided a minor boost in Week 6, Jones was averaging just five rushing yards per game across the first five weeks, leaving him without a rushing floor. The door is fully open for Jones to be replaced this offseason, with those odds potentially increased by the firing of General Manager Chris Ballard.
