Dowdle's snap share collapses to 27% as Warren dominates Steelers backfield.

Mike McCarthy's arrival in Pittsburgh resulted in a reunion between coach and player with Dowdle, but early season results suggested a split backfield with Jaylen Warren playing 55% of snaps and Dowdle 42%. After a three-week absence, Dowdle returned in Week 6 but saw just 27% of the snaps compared to 75% for Warren. Dowdle managed seven carries, half of Warren's total, with Warren taking 31 of 37 snaps through the fourth quarter and overtime. While Dowdle may be a thorn in Warren's production from time to time, it's unlikely he carries any weekly value following Warren's emergence.
