Rice's hamstring injury opens role for Cyrus Allen; Chiefs lack deep threat.

Rice departed Week 4 with a hamstring injury and is looking at a multi-week absence. He was sidelined to begin Week 6 and was ruled out Friday. Jalen Royals stepped into Rice's role following the latter's departure, although rookie Cyrus Allen would appear to be a better fit in the short term. The Chiefs are now without a viable deep threat.
