Metcalf's goal-line incompletion contributed to Steelers' third-down woes vs. Tampa.

Metcalf was targeted on a failed third-and-goal pass from the 1-yard line late in the fourth quarter against Tampa Bay, a play that did not convert and helped give the Buccaneers enough time to force overtime. The source highlights this as part of the Steelers' third-down inefficiency problem (33% conversion rate, fifth worst in the league) and their struggles in the passing game against man coverage on third down.
