McCaffrey's 25-touch game with 100+ yards and 2 TDs justifies heavy usage despite concerns.

McCaffrey received a heavy 2025-usage game with 25 total touches (16 carries, 9 receptions) across 61 plays, exceeding his season high of 19 touches from Week 3. He delivered high production to justify the workload: 100+ scrimmage yards (64 rushing, 53 receiving), 2 rushing touchdowns, and led all pass-catchers. His two scores accounted for more than 50% of the 49ers' scoring. The source notes this usage pattern is something to monitor, especially with Mike Evans' injury potentially adding to McCaffrey's workload going forward.
