Yahoo Sports NFL on Dak Prescott

Prescott's 65.2 rating in loss to Packers; Gannon's scheme and Williams' disruption limited his effectiveness.

In Dallas' 23-13 loss to Green Bay, Prescott completed 34 of 54 passes for 258 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions, and a passer rating of 65.2. Packers DC Jonathan Gannon's defensive scheme—featuring safety Evan Williams' disruptive positioning and multiple looks—forced Prescott to hang in the pocket searching for openings that weren't there, significantly limiting his effectiveness. The game could have been worse had referee Craig Wrolstad's crew not called a series of roughing the passer penalties on Packers defenders.
