There are some unanswered questions that I got from doctors I did talk to about the situation. The first regarded the issue of Hurts being told not to sleep, something multiple medical professionals told me would not be the course of action for a patient with a superficial clot. The second is what the ultrasound taken in London showed and whether it was misread by a radiologist over there. The third would be how he was handled on the plane ride back to Philly, and who cleared him to fly.

Medical professionals question Eagles' handling of Hurts' clot and embolism diagnosis.

Multiple medical professionals questioned the Eagles' handling of Hurts' superficial clot and potential embolism, including concerns about him being told not to sleep (which would not be standard protocol for a superficial clot), uncertainty about whether an ultrasound in London was misread, and questions about how he was handled on the plane ride back to Philadelphia and who cleared him to fly. If doctors had found the embolism in London, he should have been kept in England or at minimum given extra care for flying home.
