Barner's excellent season is being wasted by underutilization in Seattle's offense.

Despite an excellent season, AJ Barner has been underutilized by Seattle's offense. The source specifically notes frustration with how little the Seahawks have involved the tight end, citing a play where Barner 'quickly found space between zone defenders' but Darnold failed to see him—a recurring issue this season. This represents a gap between Barner's production and his offensive role/target allocation.
