Harris released after ineffective start amid Giants' committee approach.

Harris was released by the Giants two days after starting Sunday with just four carries for 2 yards, the worst output of six players credited with a carry. Harris expressed frustration with the running-back-by-committee approach, saying 'It's hard to get into a rhythm with one or two runs' and noting the difficulty of being taken out for a series. Despite the Giants dressing four running backs (Harris, Skattebo, Tracy Jr., and Singletary), the team managed only 34 total rushing yards against New Orleans.
