Blogging The Boys on Javonte Williams

Williams scored but got only 1 carry after TD; Cowboys abandoned run game despite 48 yards on 15 attempts.

Javonte Williams scored the Cowboys' first touchdown early in the third quarter, but Dallas ran the ball only once more after that score. The team rushed for just 48 yards on 15 carries while Prescott attempted 54 passes. Schottenheimer acknowledged the imbalance wasn't part of the plan, but the explanation reinforces the problem: the Cowboys aren't executing or adapting effectively when the game changes.
