Walker's role transformed in Kansas City; leading NFL in rushing yards with 133 yards per game.

Walker's role expanded dramatically in Kansas City after sharing carries with Zach Charbonnet in Seattle. In his first season with the Chiefs, he has rushed for 665 yards and six touchdowns in five games, leading the NFL in rushing yards at the time of reporting and averaging 133 rushing yards per contest. This represents a central piece of an offense built to maximize his explosive running ability, contrasting sharply with his shared opportunities in Seattle where he never received a contract offer to remain.
