Harris released after ineffective start; frustrated with committee approach.

Harris was released by the Giants two days after starting Sunday with just four carries for 2 yards, the worst output of six players credited with a carry. He expressed frustration with the team's running-back-by-committee approach, saying 'It's hard to get into a rhythm with one or two runs' and noting the difficulty of being pulled out mid-series. A source told ESPN that Harris' comments were not the reason for his release, but the limited workload and ineffectiveness in a crowded backfield contributed to his departure.
