Windy City Gridiron on Kyle Williams

Williams' expanded role with Doubs and Hollins out positions him as deep-ball threat vs. vulnerable Bears corners.

Kyle Williams, drafted in the third round last year, has been a one-trick pony for the Patriots but that trick is catching go-balls for touchdowns. He has an excellent release package and the speed to hit home runs at any moment, especially with Maye throwing him the ball. Williams is expected to have a bigger role with Romeo Doubs and Mack Hollins on injured reserve. Taylor Kyles identifies him as a potential difference-maker given how shaky the Bears' outside corners have been defending the deep ball.
