Wilson's post-trade decline worsens against elite Broncos defense with Surtain II returning.

Wilson is a Week 7 lineup landmine for the second consecutive week after struggling since the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade. Over the past two weeks, he has had eight receptions on 14 targets for 64 receiving yards and 14.5 PPR fantasy points, totaling seven targets and under 7.3 fantasy points in both contests. This represents a sharp decline from the previous two weeks when he had 18 receptions on 30 targets for 184 receiving yards and 42.4 fantasy points, with at least 13 targets and 16.5 fantasy points in each outing. The matchups weren't the issue in his recent decline (he faced Detroit and LA), but now he faces an elite Denver defense that has held wide receivers to 28.8 fantasy points per game, the seventh-fewest in the NFL, and surrendered only three receiving touchdowns to wide receivers, the fifth-fewest in the league. Denver could also get Pat Surtain II back this week after missing the past two games with an ankle injury.
