Golden is a primary deep threat; ~50% of deep shots result in DPI or catches vs. weak Lions secondary.

Matthew Golden is one of two primary deep receivers the Packers will deploy against Detroit on Sunday. Lions coach Dan Campbell identified Golden and Christian Watson as key threats, noting they have speed and ball-tracking ability; Campbell stated that approximately 50 percent of deep shots to these receivers result in either defensive pass interference or catches, making them explosive threats. Golden's deep-ball role is particularly dangerous given the Lions' 31st-ranked pass defense on deep targets.
