Yahoo Sports NFL on Jaxson Dart

Dart is Harbaugh's franchise QB; Giants committed to him long-term despite McCarthy.

Jaxson Dart is the Giants' starting quarterback and the team plans for him to be their starting quarterback for the next decade-plus. The source states the Giants love the player and love the person more, with top-to-bottom belief in him. Dart is a major reason John Harbaugh took the Giants job. Winning the NFC East, winning a single playoff game, or even McCarthy's performance over the next 12 weeks would not change the Giants' commitment to Dart as their franchise quarterback.
