Yahoo Sports NFL on Tyson Bagent

Bagent lacks off-script ability and arm strength; dependent on quick execution.

Bill Zimmerman contrasts Tyson Bagent unfavorably with Caleb Williams, noting Bagent lacks the ability to operate off-script and doesn't have a strong arm. Bagent requires quick operation and cannot compensate for late reads or broken plays with arm strength or mobility, making him dependent on Ben Johnson's play-calling execution. This limitation was evident in the Bears' 19 PPG average with Bagent under center, compared to 45 PPG with Williams.
