Johnson doesn't have the speed or shiftiness of Monangai...He had just 6 yards on five attempts against Green Bay...he's not a guy you want having 10-plus touches in a game.

STACKED’s take

Negative signalRole

Johnson lacks speed/shiftiness; sub-4.0 YPC average; not suited for heavy workload.

Bill Zimmerman identifies Roschon Johnson as the next man up to fill Kyle Monangai's role but expresses significant reservations. Johnson lacks the speed and shiftiness of Monangai, earning the nickname SlowJo from some fans. He averaged 1.2 yards per carry against Green Bay (6 yards on 5 attempts) and 3.9 yards per carry last week (51 yards on 13 carries), both below the 4.0 threshold. While Johnson is a solid blocker with good hands and special teams value, Zimmerman explicitly states he is not a player you want receiving 10-plus touches in a game.
