Odunze's 23-yard completion on 3rd-and-17 converted with Williams' anticipation throw.

Odunze converted a critical 3rd and 17 with a 23-yard completion on a Great-graded play in the 1st quarter. He ran a deep dig from the bottom of the screen while the trips side sent routes vertically and across the field. Williams began his delivery before Odunze had fully turned across the field, showing anticipation; waiting for obvious separation would have given the defender more time to recognize the break. The ball placement caused Odunze to leave his feet, which muddied up any potential huge gain involving YAC, but it was a chunk play that turned a difficult third-and-long into a fresh set of downs.
