FantasyPros Articles on Tyler Shough

Shough bounced back as QB2 but faces tough Steelers defense; below-average matchup.

Tyler Shough bounced back last week as QB2 after two down outings while playing through broken bones in his non-throwing hand. Overall, Shough is QB11 in fantasy points per game. Among 33 qualifying passers, Shough ranks 26th in yards per attempt, 20th in passing success rate, tenth in catchable target rate, and eighth in hero throw rate. Against Pittsburgh (19th in yards per attempt allowed, 16th in passing success rate allowed, seventh-fewest fantasy points per dropback allowed, eighth-lowest EPA per dropback allowed), Shough should see enough passing volume to flirt with QB1 production, but it is not a great matchup.
